Peer Review Policy

  1. Submission and Initial Assessment
  • Online Submission: Manuscripts must be submitted exclusively through our online submission system. Submissions sent via email or other methods will not be considered.
  • Initial Assessment: Upon receipt, each manuscript undergoes an initial assessment by the editorial team to ensure it aligns with the journal’s scope and meets the basic submission requirements.
  1. Peer Review Process
  • Reviewer Selection: The Editorial Board is responsible for selecting appropriate reviewers who possess expertise in the manuscript's subject area. Each manuscript is typically evaluated by at least two independent reviewers.
  • Double-Blind Review: The journal employs a double-blind review process, ensuring that both the reviewers and authors remain anonymous to each other. This approach upholds impartiality and reduces potential bias.
  • Criteria for Review: Reviewers assess manuscripts based on criteria including originality, relevance, methodology, clarity, impact, and contribution to community engagement. Constructive feedback is provided to help authors enhance their manuscripts.
  1. Decision-Making
  • Editorial Decision: The Editorial Board makes the final decision on manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection, based on the reviewers' feedback and recommendations.
  • Communication: The Section Editor communicates the final decision to the corresponding author, including any reviewer comments and suggestions for further revisions.
  1. Confidentiality
  • Confidentiality: The Editorial Board ensures that all submitted materials and reviewer communications are kept confidential. Reviewers must also maintain the confidentiality of the manuscripts they review and are prohibited from using or disclosing any information obtained during the review process.
  1. Ethical Considerations
  • Ethical Guidelines: Submissions must comply with the journal’s ethical standards, including issues related to plagiarism, conflicts of interest, and research integrity. Violations of ethical guidelines are taken seriously and addressed accordingly.
  • Plagiarism Check: Manuscripts are subjected to plagiarism detection software to ensure the originality of the content.
  1. Appeals and Complaints
  • Appeals: Authors wishing to appeal a decision must submit a detailed justification for their appeal. The Editorial Board reviews appeals on a case-by-case basis.
  • Complaints: Complaints regarding the peer review process should be directed to the Editor-in-Chief, who will investigate and address the concerns appropriately.
