This study aims to analyze the influence of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), and Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO) on financial performance as measured by Return on Assets (ROA) in Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia during the 2017–2023 period. The population in this study includes all Islamic Commercial Banks operating during that period, with the sampling technique using a census (saturated sampling) method. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS software, preceded by classical assumption testing. The analysis results show that partially, the CAR variable has a positive but not significant effect on ROA. The FDR variable has a negative but also not significant effect on ROA. Meanwhile, the BOPO variable shows a significant negative effect on ROA. These findings indicate that operational efficiency is the main factor influencing financial performance in the Islamic banking industry in Indonesia.
