The rapid advancement of technology continues to drive new innovations, particularly in facilitating payment transactions. In line with this, BAZNAS East Kalimantan has introduced the QRIS method as a digital payment solution for zakat. Several factors may influence muzakki’s interest in using QRIS for zakat payments, including knowledge, socialization, trust, convenience, and security. This study aims to examine whether these factors individually (partially) and collectively (simultaneously) have a significant effect on the interest in paying zakat via QRIS at BAZNAS East Kalimantan. This research employs a quantitative approach, with a population comprising 2,079 muzakki from 2020–2021. A cluster sampling technique was used to select a sample of 100 respondents. Multiple linear regression analysis was performed using SPSS 22 to analyze the data. The findings indicate that all questionnaire items are valid and reliable, with data meeting classical assumption tests, including normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and linearity. The results reveal that trust and convenience significantly influence muzakki’s interest in using QRIS for zakat payments, whereas knowledge, socialization, and security do not have a significant partial effect. However, when analyzed simultaneously, all factors collectively influence the interest in paying zakat via QRIS.These findings highlight the importance of building trust and enhancing convenience to encourage digital zakat payments. Future research could explore additional variables that may further impact muzakki’s adoption of QRIS.
